Where does the wind go, when it’s been knocked out of you?

To the millions of people who find that they can’t get through a day without stopping here at 1poet4man - and because I can’t answer all of your emails individually which have asked the question “Poetman where have you been?” I’ll just write this simple reply.

I have been sick. Dog flu and dog poo sick. Salmmed and bammed sick. Prickly and sticly sick. Head severed and body ache sick. Sleep and high temperature sick. Dead sic and will I live sick?

Knocked down and and almost out sick.

And now I am feeling a tad better, thanks for asking.

A fair question, I think… rather a conundrum, no? Where, indeed… There seems to be a commonality of malaise flitting about the populus these days, exacting its foul toll upon (undeserving?) individuals. Just put a few cookies out on a plate and we’ll keep stopping by, trust me. Feel better…
